coffee mornings
FROM the COFFEE GROUPS on VACATING ST PETERS HALL
For 24 years, the coffees have sold.
With comments of “Great” to “This coffee is cold”.
We all did enjoy it and often felt tired.
Selling cakes a bit pale to those over-fired.
“Calendar Girls” - we surely were not.
We had visits from bikers and a two week old tot.
Supporters from Aberdeen gave us a call.
But all were made welcome in our little church hall.
We shared all our worries and happiness too.
Births, weddings and illnesses to name but a few.
It’s the end of our routine but thanks to you all.
Who cleaned and brought cheerfulness to our wee hall.
We must now move out go down the road,
Where soon we’ll be meeting in default mode.
And may God still be with us in mundane things.
With high hopes for the future whatever it brings
Tuesday & Saturday Coffee Mornings
Every Tuesday and Saturday from 10am - 12 noon we hold coffee mornings in the church.
The last Saturday of every month the coffee morning changes venue from the church to Friary Court sheltered housing complex.
You can continue to enjoy a time of fellowship and a cup of FAIRTRADE tea or coffee at each of these mornings with home baking on offer.
A selection of FAIRTRADE produce is also made available for purchase in the church.
Inverkeithing Parish Church supports
